September City Council: sins, forks, enforcement

In a discussion by journalists Dave Glowacz and Ben Joravsky, Dave and Ben probed a September 2021 meeting of the full Chicago City Council, and an August meeting of the Chicago Plan Commission.

In the standard version of the episode, Dave played audio of a debate prior to the council's passage of a collective bargaining agreement with the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 7.

In the premium version of the episode, Dave played audio of aldermen discussing a limit on the distribution of single-use foodware, like plastic forks, by restaurants
